We encourage everyone to participate in our Science Fair. Please review the handouts below for the criteria required to submit a project. Science Fair Projects are due March 6th.

Join us for our Science Fair Night on March 12th to check out all of our students projects on display, along with many other interactive fun activities.

Math- continuing to work on the unit: Place Value and Decimal Operations. 

Unit Goals

  • Students build from place value understanding in grade 4 to recognize that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right and of what it represents in the place to its left. They use this place value understanding to round, compare, order, add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals.
Word Study- The 42 most common Latin roots!

Science- continue  Mystery Science-Spaceship Earth and work on Science projects

  MATH 5.7 Shapes on the Coordinate Plane Unit Goals Students plot coordinate pairs on a coordinate grid and classify triangles and quadrilaterals in a hierarchy based on properties of side length and angle measure.
