Brown School Talent show 2024–Brown School Talent is Unstoppable!!

ALL Brown School students are invited to be a part of our annual talent show.

Acts can be any ‘talent’ —time limit for each individual act = 2 mins (there will be an ‘audition’ for each submission of talent during students lunch break February 6,8 & 9th)


Performances will be at SJHS on Fri. March 8th @ 9:00am (for school) & 6:00pm (families)


Rehearsal run thru on Wed. March 6th, Act 1 & Thurs. March 7th, Act 2

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is starting on 2/27!! The girls are now able to register if your 3rd - 5th grader would like to join. If you are interested in coaching please email Robin at rel3414@gmail.com

Practice times: Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the gym until 5:30pm.

Math- we will continue unit 4: Wrapping up Multiplication and Division with Multi-Digit Numbers
  • Students use the standard algorithm to multiply multi-digit whole numbers.
  • Divide whole numbers up to four digits by two digits using strategies based on place value and properties of operations.

Science- we will continue the unit on Watery Planet.


Reading-(continue from last week)Unit 4: Fix-Up Monitoring/Summarize Information

Week 10 10/30-11/3/2023

  Monday, October 30 Tuesday, October 31 Fall Parties Costume Parade 1st-5th @ 3:15 on playground It's been a tradition in my class that the students donate a dollar or two and we order Little Caser's pizza, breadsticks, and soda. However, they are allowed to bring in snacks as well. We have 29 kiddos. Our party will consist of Minecraft Education and other school-appropriate games. The day is so hectic that we only have about an hour to have a party. It will be broken up into segments. The students will eat pizza and socialize from 1:15-1:45. We will have our afternoon switch (science and social studies) from 1:45-2:15. The party will resume around 2:45. Reminders: Halloween reminders: Costumes can be worn to school so long as they are appropriate - no weapons, gore, or masks during the day (masks can be worn during the parade) Halloween parade at 3:15.
